Design
HP ZBook Power G7 features an improved design, it is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The Power G7 has an all-aluminum chassis making it tough, durable yet portable.
This laptop has passed through MIL-STD 810G testing, hence, it is tough enough to last and withstand harsh conditions. At 14.15 x 9.21 x 0.9 inch and 4.16 lb, the HP ZBook Power G7 Laptop was redesigned to deliver the ideal balance between portability and performance.
In addition, the HP ZBook Power G7 has a smooth, thin lid that hosts the 15.6-inch display with a four-sided narrow bezel, thus measuring a 94% screen-to-body ratio.
The base chassis also has smooth matte aluminum surfaces that hide fingerprints well. It also hosts a spill-resistant Keyboard with large, plastic keycaps and a numeric keypad on the left. These keycaps have decent travel distance considering how thin the laptop is, and a large armrest to accommodate the small and large hands alike.
HP ZBook Power G7 also has a large smooth textured click pad below the keyboard for finger gestures and easy navigation.
In addition, above the keyboard is the dual stereo speakers. There are also ports for connectivity on the sides of the laptop.
On the left side, there is a nano Kensington Lock, one-gigabit RJ45 ethernet port, USB Type-A 5Gbps with charging, HDMI 2.0, and a smart card reader. On the right, we have an AC power connector, one Thunderbolt™ 3 Type-C® with DisplayPort™ 1.2, two USB Type-A 5Gbps, and a headphone/microphone combo.
Display
HP ZBook Power G7 comes with two distinct display options. The 15.6-inches display has an FHD 1920 x 1080 display option and a UHD 4K (3840×2160) display for both touch and non-touchscreen panels.
The 15.6-inch Full HD version has a LED anti-glare panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution that offers stunning images than the regular HD panel. This FHD model is available with 250 nits, and 400 nits of brightness.
The Power G7 UHD 4K (3840×2160) display is also built on a LED anti-glare panel and offers up to 400 nits of brightness. This 4K display laptop offers considerably higher resolution than 1080P, thus, offering a notably brighter, sharper, and more vibrant display than the FHD option.
Above all, this laptop has an ambient light sensor, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, 100% sRGB color gamut, and wide viewing angles.
Performance
Like the ZBook Fury 15, the HP ZBook Power G7 is power-packed. It is equipped with a range of CPUs. There is a choice of Intel Xeon W-10885M or the 10th Generation Intel Core i5, i7 or i9 Processors.
Thanks to the 8 cores and high Turbo speeds, the Intel Xeon W-10885M powered laptop offers an improved overall system performance.
Like the latest Intel chips, the 10th Gen Intel Core™ processors deliver remarkable performance upgrades for improved productivity and stunning entertainment, including up to 5.3 GHz, Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Thunderbolt™ 3 technology, 4K HDR, intelligent system optimization, and more.
These processors come with integrated Intel UHD Graphics to deliver an impressive graphics performance.
In addition to the integrated Intel UHD Graphics, this workstation comes with NVIDIA® Quadro® T2000 discrete graphics card with 4GB of video memory.
The HP ZBook Power G7 also comes with up to 64GB RAM memory and up to 2TB SSD storage with further boosts in performance and responsiveness.
Above all, this laptop runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system. Therefore, offering a smooth user experience and a better interface.
