Xiaomi Watch Color 2 launched with 1.43-inch AMOLED display

Along with the new Civi smartphone, Xiaomi also unveiled a new smartwatch called the Watch Color 2. As the name suggests, this watch is the successor to the Color smartwatch that went official in January last year.

Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has a circular shape but the display is slightly larger than the predecessor with 1.43-inches in size. It has an AMOLED display type and has 326 ppi pixel density. The watch still runs a proprietary OS and has 200 watch faces. It also supports third-party apps.

Xiaomi's Watch Color 2 smartwatch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, meaning you can take it for swimming. It supports 117 sports tracking modes, 19 of which are labeled "professional" sports modes. Over 200 customizable watch faces are also offered.

The watch also includes blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) tracking, heart rate measurement, stress monitoring and sleep tracking. Some other notable health monitoring features include menstrual cycle tracking, breathing guide, and more.

The wearable houses a 470mAh battery which is claimed to last up to 12 hours on a single charge.

Xiaomi Watch Color 2 comes in three color options and six strap colors (Black, Blue, White, Green, Yellow and Orange).

The Watch Color 2 is priced at CNY 999 ($154) in China. It is up for pre-order on the company's site and the wearable will go on sale starting September 30. Early buyers can also take advantage of a CNY 100 discount ($15).
