Apple released the iPhone Dev Center through its second beta of iPhone OS 4 and its Software Development Kit SDK for developers, required to create and update applications. The initial versions of the iPhone SDK and OS 4 have been released earlier this month, simultaneously with the submission made by Apple of its new operating system for iPhone.
The iPhone OS 4 will be forgotten, a number of new features, including multitasking support various services, improvements to e-mail and greater access of third-party applications with built-in iPhone features, such as calendar, pictures and camera controls. In all, the iPhone OS 4 brings over 1,500 new API that developers can use in their applications.
